Boss & Elite Enemy Guide: Weak Spots, Attack Patterns, and the Safest Kill Strategies
In escape from duckov, the real progress blockers are always those key boss and elite fights. They hit hard, tank tons of damage, and usually bring backup. Here's the stable approach I've settled on:
1. Tutorial Prison Boss: Warden
He's in the starter prison level. When you spawn, don't walk forward — back up first. You'll see a small office behind you, and the Warden is inside with an AK-74U and grenades. I usually kite him to the doorway and fight from cover outside. Listen for reload or grenade-throwing sound cues, then peek and shoot. His grenade bounce often hits himself, giving you a free window for headshots. If the difficulty feels overwhelming, just lower it first and come back later.
2. Long-Range Suppression Boss: Triple-Shot Man (Farm Town)
Found at the lumberyard in Farm Town, usually with two 'Triple-Shot Kids.' He fires high-damage SVD bursts, and chain headshots are the real danger. My routine:
- •Clear the small mobs and 'Kids' first to avoid being flanked.
- •Use wood piles or building corners to strafe around; only peek during his firing cooldown.
- •Bring a proper mid-range rifle or sniper — AP ammo preferred. Don't shotgun-rush him.
3. Storm Zone Gate Boss: Roadblock Boss
After powering both switches (1F and basement) in J-Lab, the fight triggers when you return upstairs. Defeating him guarantees a Level-3 pass — essential for entering the Storm Zone. I always clear nearby wanderers first. Bring good armor, meds, and yellow stims. If it goes bad, retreat to an extraction point immediately; don't drag the fight out.
4. Early-Game Elites: Rampaging Scavengers
Red skin, butcher knives, insane sprint speed — they're the target of the 'Hunter's Path' quest. They spawn at the southwest camp in Ground Zero, not far from the bunker. Their melee damage is scary and causes heavy bleeding:
- •Pull them to a slightly open area; don't let two rush you at once.
- •Use pistols or rifles for headshots; melee-dueling them is a bad idea.
- •Bandage immediately after the fight — many players die to bleed-out afterward.
5. Event Enemy: Ghost
Ghosts only spawn during Halloween events. Nearly immune to normal weapons, and their scythe crits delete half your HP. You need a different plan:
- •Get a Coin Sword or Psionic weapon (Psionic Gun / Scythe) — these deal bonus damage.
- •Fight them in a wide open area for movement space.
- •Try to finish them in one clean hit; don't linger near them.
