Resource & Economy Guide: Fastest Money-Making Methods & Farming Routes
After playing for a while, I started deliberately studying where money comes from in Escape From Duckov and where to spend it—otherwise you end up with a stash full of junk but can't upgrade anything.
1. First, understand what money is for
The main currency is Money, used at vending machines and weapon/armor shops, plus skill enhancers, gym training, and stash expansion. Feeling broke early on is completely normal.
2. Early money farming: Ground Zero tools + bandit camp loop
Early on, I farm almost exclusively in Ground Zero: exit bunker, sweep toolboxes and junk crates, prioritize wrenches, circuit boards, and metal parts—high-value materials. Then clear the left bandit camp and grab guns from weapon crates. Once I hit a safe threshold, I extract via bunker hatch or the nearest exit. Many beginner guides mention this route: low risk, fast pace, great for building initial capital.
3. Mid-game farming: Map upgrades + item selection
After unlocking Warehouse and Farm Town, I focus on killing enemies + picking up high-value ammo/rare materials. Many AP rounds have absurd unit prices—you can profit even without a large backpack. Some players also mention crafting Potato GPU (potato + wires) to sell—stable mid-game crafting income. Also remember: different traders pay different prices for different item types. Weapons and meds often sell for more at their specialized traders.
4. What to sell, what to keep, and upgrade priority
The community consensus is: keep dog tags, boss drops, cold core fragments—upgrade/quest materials. Sell duplicate low-tier weapons, useless ammo, and obviously worthless junk. Once you have money, my priority is: Stash expansion → Skill enhancers → Workbench level. These three directly affect future farming efficiency and economic snowballing.
